College Prep Program
The StreetSquash College Prep Program is offered to all high school participants beginning in 9th grade, providing guidance and support through the 12th grade college application and admissions process.
Weekly Sessions
College Prep offers the students S.A.T. preparation, essay writing, and college guidance. Students meet each week for intensive study and practice. StreetSquash administers PSAT and SAT diagnostic tests several times each year so that each student is prepared for the test in Junior and Senior year.
College Visits
StreetSquashers visit colleges across New York State and the northeast. Trips include visits to SUNY schools, New York City colleges, and Intercollegiate Squash Colleges. In addition, college admissions counselors visit with StreetSquashers to provide essential information and guidance throughout the college admissions process.
College Prep Mentors
In their senior year, each StreetSquasher is paired with a College Prep Mentor. College Prep Mentors meet weekly with students to aid in choosing the right colleges to apply to, writing college essays, and meeting important deadlines.
