Mentoring Program
The StreetSquash Mentoring Program is offered for all interested StreetSquashers. Many of the relationships begin when students are in middle school and continue through the student’s years in the program. Mentors and StreetSquashers arrange outings on their own and with other Mentor pairs throughout the year. Several group outings with all mentors and students take place during the year. These have included Ice Skating in Central Park, Yankee games, and the StreetSquash Mentoring Olympics in Riverside Park.
College Prep Mentors
In addition to our traditional Mentoring Program, StreetSquash’s high school seniors are paired with College Prep Mentors who support them during the college admissions process.
New Mentors
StreetSquash welcomes new mentors. Mentors must have a college degree and are required to complete the Mentor Application. Our students have varied interests and perspectives, and StreetSquash matches mentors accordingly. If you are interested in mentoring a StreetSquasher, please contact us by e-mail.
