Squash
Squash is a challenging and fun racket sport played across the world. At StreetSquash, students are introduced to the sport in 7th grade, and work hard to develop as players throughout their years in the program. StreetSquash is committed to each child achieving his or her potential on court at all levels.
Weekly Sessions
During the school year, students practice three times a week. Practice sessions are focused on drills, conditioned games, and fitness. StreetSquash’s experienced coaching staff are supported by a committed group of volunteers at every practice session.
Urban Nationals
Each season builds up to the NUSEA Urban Squash National Team Tournament, and the NUSEA Urban Squash National Individuals, where StreetSquashers compete against other NUSEA members.

Matches
StreetSquash team members play most matches against other teams between November and March. The New York City area offers plenty of competition. Annual opponents include schools like Brearley, Chapin, Poly Prep (Brooklyn), Pingry (NJ), and Delbarton (NJ).
In addition, the highlight matches of the year pit StreetSquash vs. SquashBusters from Boston, CitySquash from the Bronx, & SquashSmarts from Philadelphia.
Elite Squash
The Elite Training Squash Program is offered to aspiring college-bound StreetSquashers. Elite Squash members commit to a 5th program day and have the opportunity to compete in additional tournaments and matches. Students in the program work to improve technique and fitness with the goal of playing squash at the collegiate level. To make the Tournament Team each month, players must have average of 85+ with no classes failed, and attend 3 prior Elite Training sessions.
